We have a No Reservations policy.
It’s important that if you have a party come dine with us we cannot let guests ‘hold’ a table while you wait for your remaining party to arrive. Your party WILL NOT be seated until everyone has arrived. Your party will be seated at a table appropriate for your party size.
This policy is important to us because it helps ensure fairness to all customers who are already waiting for a table at Isaan Der. We will not make any exceptions to this policy. We so appreciate your understanding and we will do our very best to accommodate everyone and thank you for being patient especially on busy nights.
Due to the size of our restaurant and the busy nature of being located in Toronto, sometimes there is a bit of a wait. The average time is around 10-15 minutes or less.
The peak periods are Wednesday – Sunday from 6:00 -9:00 pm.
If you would like to avoid these wait times entirely, the option of ordering for pickup or delivery is always available to our customers. We thank you for your continued support.
It is our policy and industry standard for large groups of 6+ people that we will add an 18% gratuity per group per check.

Why do restaurants do this?
For larger parties ( 6+) people, your server spends a considerable amount of time dedicated to serve all of the guests at your table. We believe that all servers deserve a fair wage for the service(s) they give.
100% of the tips given to our servers, auto gratuity included, is theirs and owners have nothing to do with tips given by our customers. Our staff deserve them!
For larger groups of 6+ people we will NOT do individual checks. Tables will be billed to a maximum of 3 checks per table.
Due to wait times, we ask that guests be mindful of others waiting for a table and to vacate your table as soon as your guest check has been paid or soon thereafter. No one likes to wait and we so appreciate your patience on extremely busy nights and want everyone to get to enjoy the experience.

At times we may not have the opportunity to answer our phones as we are taking care of our in-house guests and we are sorry about that.
We are a high volume Thai restaurant and often very busy and have found that our customers have a better and smoother experience ordering online. It’s quick, easy and some items are further reduced/discounted % no need to wait for us to answer our phone.
If you have any questions or concerns about any of our menu items, we would be more than happy to answer any questions but we will not accept your order over the phone.
